The 'Pearl of the Lake'. Take the ferry from Cernobbio and stroll the cobblestone lanes. Visit Villa Melzi gardens and the Silk Museum. About 50 minutes by ferry.

Local taxis: +39 031 24 33 25 (Como Radio Taxi). Alternatively, Uber is available in this area. Allow extra time on summer weekends — the lakeside road gets congested.

Closest supermarket: Esselunga, Via Regina 35 (5 min walk, open 8 AM–9 PM). For local produce, try the Tuesday morning market in Cernobbio village square — excellent cheeses, cured meats, and seasonal fruit.
